Your team is doing work software should be doing.

I find the manual workflow costing you the most, then build the automation in seven days or less.

Founder-led. Fixed scope. You work directly with me.

You know AI could help. You just don’t know where to start.

What you don’t need:

  • Another course.
  • A generic tool list.
  • A strategy presentation.

You need someone to understand how your business actually operates, identify where automation would create a real return, and turn that opportunity into a working system.

Where your team’s hours go every week:

  • Following up with leadshrs / wk
  • Entering informationhrs / wk
  • Processing documentshrs / wk
  • Creating reportshrs / wk
  • Updating systemshrs / wk
  • Moving data from one place to anotherhrs / wk

I work with owners and operators whose teams spend hours every week on exactly this. The blanks are what we fill in during the assessment.

Start with a free AI Workflow Assessment.

We spend 15 minutes walking through a normal day in your business.

I look for where time disappears, where leads are missed, where documents accumulate, and where your team repeats the same process over and over.

Within 48 hours, you receive a personalized recommendation covering:

Your recommendation

within 48 hours

  1. 01The highest-value automation opportunities
  2. 02The workflow I recommend starting with
  3. 03The expected time or financial impact
  4. 04The tools and systems involved
  5. 05A clear implementation scope and timeline

The technology changes. The business problems are usually familiar.

Leads are coming in, but follow-up is slow

Research and qualify new leads, draft personalized responses, update the CRM, assign the right salesperson, and trigger follow-ups automatically.

Documents require too much manual handling

Extract information, classify files, validate required fields, summarize content, prepare drafts, and route exceptions to the right person.

Information is trapped between systems

Move information between email, spreadsheets, CRMs, forms, internal tools, and databases without requiring employees to copy and paste it manually.

Recurring operational work consumes the team

Generate reports, create tasks, monitor status changes, send reminders, and alert a person when a decision or exception requires attention.

These are examples, not packages. The assessment determines what is actually worth building for your business.

Selected work

CorDx

Sales and Document Operations

I built automations across lead generation, outbound outreach, sales pipeline management, and document processing supporting regulatory workflows.

A global diagnostics manufacturer

Proprietary Operations Workflow

A proprietary internal workflow consumed approximately five staff-hours each day. I mapped the process, identified the repeatable logic, and automated the manual steps while preserving human review where necessary.

UPangea

AI Product Development

Before Ray Automate, I built UPangea, an AI-powered education platform. The experience taught me how to take an unclear problem, understand the user and workflow, and turn it into production software.

How it works

  1. 1

Show me how the work happens today

    A 15-minute call

We walk through the actual process, including the tools, people, decisions, delays, and exceptions involved.

  2. 2

    Find the highest-leverage opportunity

I evaluate each opportunity based on time saved, revenue impact, implementation difficulty, risk, and how quickly your team can adopt it.

  3. 3

    Choose one workflow

    Within 48 hours

You receive a recommendation for the smallest useful system worth building first. No massive transformation project is required.

  4. 4

    Build and launch

    7 days or less

We agree on the scope, fixed price, and definition of working. I build, test, and deploy the first version, usually within seven days or less.

  5. 5

    Measure the result

Once the system is running, we review what changed. If it works, we improve it or move to the next workflow.

Ruidi Huang, founder of Ray Automate
Ruidi HuangFounder — San Francisco

I’m Ruidi.

I am a technical founder and computer science graduate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

I previously built UPangea, an AI-powered education product, and have worked directly on automation systems for CorDx and a global diagnostics manufacturer.

For that diagnostics manufacturer, I automated a proprietary workflow that consumed approximately five hours of manual work every day. At CorDx, I built systems across lead generation, outreach, sales pipeline operations, and regulatory document processing.

I started Ray Automate because capable employees should not spend valuable time moving information around when software can handle the repetitive work.

Ray Automate is founder-led. You work directly with me from the first assessment through implementation and deployment.

Why Ray Automate

Diagnosis before development

I do not start by selling you a chatbot, an AI agent, or a particular software platform. I first determine what problem is worth solving.

One workflow at a time

The first project is deliberately narrow. It should produce a visible result without requiring you to overhaul the entire business.

You work with the builder

There is no handoff from a salesperson to a separate implementation team. I learn the workflow and build the system.

Clear definition of done

Before implementation begins, we agree on the workflow, expected behavior, exceptions, and acceptance test.

Fixed scope. Fixed price. No long-term contract. If the assessment does not reveal a credible opportunity, I will tell you directly.

Every implementation is scoped individually.

The initial AI Workflow Assessment is currently free.

If we identify an opportunity worth implementing, you receive a fixed scope, timeline, and price before any work begins.

There are no surprise hourly charges and no obligation to continue beyond the assessment.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know what I want automated?

No. Finding the right opportunity is the purpose of the assessment. You only need to explain how your business currently operates.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

I work with established small businesses that have meaningful operational volume and repetitive work across sales, administration, operations, or documents. I am not limited to a particular industry.

How long does implementation take?

Most first projects are scoped so that a working version can be delivered within seven days. Larger systems may be divided into multiple short phases.

How much does it cost?

The initial assessment is free. Implementation pricing depends on the workflow, integrations, complexity, and required level of reliability. You receive a fixed price before deciding whether to proceed.

Will we need to replace our current software?

Usually not. I first look for ways to automate the tools and processes your team already uses.

What happens if there is nothing worth automating?

I will tell you directly. Not every process needs AI, and some problems are better solved by simplifying the process or using existing software.

Do you work remotely?

Yes. I am based in San Francisco and work remotely with businesses across the United States.

Bring me the workflow everyone hates.

In a free AI Workflow Assessment, we will identify the manual process costing your business the most time or money and determine whether it is worth automating.

No generic AI presentation. No obligation. Just a clear recommendation for what to do first.
